About

A daily case for people who close the books.

The Accoundle turns the working knowledge of an accounting professional into a short, daily habit.

What the app does

Every day The Accoundle publishes a case: a short, realistic scenario from the working life of an accountant. You read the facts, open the clues one at a time, and name the concept, standard or treatment the case rests on. A wrong guess costs you part of the score but reveals another clue, so reasoning still gets you there. Beyond the daily case there is a rapid-fire quiz, a letter-bank word game, a study room that teaches the topic behind each case, and an archive you can replay at any level.

The puzzles are grouped into the same four modules professionals are examined on: auditing, tax, financial management and IFRS. Each case is written at Foundation, Intermediate or Advanced level, and the daily board moves you up the ladder as you solve cases. Nothing here is a textbook definition to memorise; every case is built around a judgement you would actually have to make.

Who it is for

The Accoundle is written for accounting professionals and the people training to become one: trainee accountants and article clerks, audit seniors, tax practitioners, financial managers, and anyone studying towards a professional qualification. If you already work with IFRS and standards every week, the cases are a sharpener. If you are still studying, they are a low-stakes way to practise applying the rules to a mess of real facts.

Who builds it

The Accoundle is written and maintained by Mubeen Ghole, a SAICA trainee auditor in his second year of articles. The app was built with an AI-assisted development platform, and each case is drafted with AI help, then edited, checked against current guidance and approved by hand before it is published. No case goes live unreviewed, and every correction readers send is read by a person. The app is deliberately small: one case a day, no noise, no infinite feed. Puzzle content is for practice and is not professional advice.
